ICP was founded to educate parents and professionals on children’s mental health issues and to promote the psychological and emotional well-being of children and adolescents. Our mission is to empower caregivers (i.e., parents, teachers, therapists, social workers, and psychologists) by giving them pertinent insights, skills, and tools necessary to help children thrive. A healthy community with thriving children is possible with the anchor of empowered families and communities. To support children’s mental health needs, parents, frontline workers, teachers, and professionals must have easy access to the latest research and valuable strategies they can apply in their everyday life. Living through the pandemic has reiterated the importance of resources required to support families, communities and mental healthcare professionals, including frontline workers, teachers, and staff responsible for supporting children’s mental health. The secret to a vibrant and healthy society with thriving children lies in how easily cutting-edge knowledge is available and how efficiently it can be transformed into a practical approach that can help daily. Cities and Municipalities are critical in ensuring communities, staff members, and families have access to robust, quality wellness resources. We offer training and workshops where Cities and Municipalities hire our services to provide customized training to families and communities, including frontline workers or staff responsible for children’s mental health. At ICP, our team is equipped to offer services to empower communities with research, tools and strategies related to children’s mental health. This customized training is research orientated based on cutting-edge neurobiological, developmental, and attachment research. Our motto is to present this information in a way that allows parents, teachers and caregivers to walk away with a rich understanding of children’s mental health issues.
